The Brady Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Alpine Bucks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Brady fell victim to Wall's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were beaten by the Hawks 68-0. Brady has not had much luck with Wall recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meanwhile, Alpine pushed their score all the way to 32 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 41-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of Crane.
Despite the loss, Alpine saw an underclassman step up: Daedrick Hardwick picked up 95 receiving yards and a touchdown. Sean Mendoza got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Brady's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-7. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 10-0 Mason (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 65% over those games). As for Alpine, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's game: Brady has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 198.1 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Alpine struggles in that department as they've been averaging 183.1 per game. It's looking like Friday's match might have some serious battles in the trenches. Brady couldn't quite finish off Alpine in their previous matchup back in November of 2022 and fell 57-55. Can Brady avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
