The Hardee Wildcats suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 82-43 loss at the hands of Frostproof. Hardee has not had much luck with Frostproof recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Sevastian Rosado was his usual excellent self, scoring 38 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds for Frostproof. That makes it six consecutive games in which Rosado has scored at least a third of Frostproof's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daiveon Pittman, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Hardee's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Frostproof, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hardee will face off against Fort Meade at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Fort Meade's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matchups. As for Frostproof, they will head out on the road to take on Lakeland Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Lakeland Christian will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
