Cypress Woods came tearing into Tuesday's game with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 48-47 W against the Cypress Lakes Spartans. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Wildcats' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while the Spartans are ranked 569th).

Cypress Woods' victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Cypress Lakes, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.
