After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Morehead brought some dynamite into their most recent match. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the North Forsyth Vikings a 17-0 shutout on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Jenna Mauney made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
