The Clarksville Generals can finally bid farewell to their 11-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They walked away with a 49-42 victory over Medora. That's another feather in the cap for Clarksville, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Clarksville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kaylin Lemke, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lemke has scored all season. Jayonna Shirley was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
Clarksville's win ended a 12-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-14. As for Medora, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
Clarksville will head out on the road to square off against Hauser at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Hauser focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 last Tuesday. As for Medora, they will be playing at home against Shawe Memorial at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
