Even though the Lebanon Yellowjackets scored an imposing 79 points on Tuesday, the Glendale Falcons still came out on top. Glendale secured a 83-79 W over Lebanon. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Glendale also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Lebanon lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Caleb Ray, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 assists. Kory Hough was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with four steals.
Glendale is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Lebanon, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.
Glendale will head out on the road to square off against Kickapoo at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Kickapoo is on a nine-game streak of home wins, Glendale a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Lebanon will take on Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Central knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight matches -- so hopefully Lebanon likes a good challenge.
