Last Tuesday, Burncoat came up short against Fitchburg and fell 70-63.
Despite the defeat, Burncoat saw an underclassman step up: Jaiden Johnston scored 23 points. Cheyton Marshall was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Meanwhile, St. Paul didn't have too much trouble with Assabet Valley RVT at home on Tuesday as they won 72-56.
Burncoat has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season. As for St. Paul, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
Burncoat was able to grind out a solid win over St. Paul in their previous meeting back in January, winning 64-57. Will Burncoat repeat their success, or does St. Paul have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
