It was another big night for Anna clay Shirley, who scored 30 points along with five rebounds and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Middle Tennessee Christian's points. Madison Graham was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Ezell-Harding Christian was beaten by Goodpasture Christian 62-26 on Saturday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ezell-Harding Christian in their matchups with Goodpasture Christian: they've now lost three in a row.
Middle Tennessee Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-12 record this season. As for Ezell-Harding Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-12.
Middle Tennessee Christian suffered a grim 63-42 defeat to Ezell-Harding Christian in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Middle Tennessee Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
