Cooperstown's lost on Monday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Brody Murdock, who scored 22 points along with 6 rebounds. Cooper Bradley was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Cooperstown's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Sauquoit Valley, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Cooperstown will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. Sauquoit Valley will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Sherburne-Earlville at 7:00 p.m. on December 14th.
