The Notasulga Blue Devils have not had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They took down Billingsley 53-36 on Thursday. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Notasulga has managed all season.
Billingsley lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Landon Jones, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Hudson Manning, who scored 12 points.
Notasulga is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-8 record this season. As for Billingsley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Notasulga won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Beauregard at 7:00 p.m. on January 5th.
