Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the East Webster Wolverines, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They suffered a tough 49-26 loss at the hands of Winona on Friday. East Webster's defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.
East Webster's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kaleb Warnock, who rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown, and Jer'kel Ivy who picked up 63 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
East Webster's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Winona, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.
East Webster does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Winona will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Amanda Elzy at 7:00 p.m. on November 24th. Amanda Elzy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
