Nate Persinger posted a new career-low in walks on Wednesday. Butler had no answer to Persinger as he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). Persinger has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Persinger's effort led North Allegheny over Butler and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
