After two games on the road, Pioneer Valley is heading back home. They will take on the Cabrillo Conquistadores at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Pioneer Valley sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 45-43 win over the Bearcats.
Meanwhile, Cabrillo had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They walked away with a 48-35 victory over Morro Bay.
Pioneer Valley is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-14 record this season. As for Cabrillo, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7.
Things could have been worse for Pioneer Valley, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 58-44 loss to the Conquistadores in their previous meeting back in January.
