Grand Oaks had already won 16 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.2 points) and they went ahead and made it 17 on Friday. They breezed by the Oak Ridge War Eagles to the tune of 62-35. The Grizzlies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 21 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Leading Grand Oaks to victory were Bree Riley and Hannah Reynolds. Riley went 11 for 25 on her way to 26 points and four steals, while Reynolds went 6 of 13 en route to 17 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Riley is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 33 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Avery Campbell, who posted five points and three steals.

Despite the loss, Oak Ridge had strong showings from Amari Robinson, who put up seven points, and Kylee Jameson, who scored six points and ten boards.

Grand Oaks' victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 29-3. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.8 points per game. As for Oak Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-17.
