Having just played yesterday, the Terrell County Greenwave will head out on the road to face off against the Early County Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. Terrell County has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 346 points over their last five matches.
Even though Quitman County scored an imposing 62 points on Thursday, Terrell County still came out on top. Terrell County took their matchup against Quitman County 75-62.
Shaheed Huckaby continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Keavonte Anderson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Meanwhile, Early County came up short against Dougherty on Monday and fell 52-40. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Early County has scored all season.
Terrell County's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Early County, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.
Terrell County beat Early County 83-74 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Terrell County since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
