The Bigelow Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Des Arc Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Bigelow 4.1, Des Arc 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Bigelow took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Dardanelle, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Sand Lizards 11-10 on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

The team relied heavily on Addyson Jordan, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Carley Camp, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Des Arc was able to grind out a solid victory over McCrory on Tuesday, taking the game 8-3.
Kaylee McDonald spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in 20 consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Emma Buckner was incredible, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Bailey RoBison was another key player, going 2-for-5 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Bigelow's record now sits at 16-3. As for Des Arc, their record is now 17-6.
Des Arc's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bigelow hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .334. It's a different story for Des Arc, though, as they've only averaged .255. Will they be able to contain Bigelow's hitters?
Bigelow couldn't quite finish off Des Arc in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 and fell 3-1. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
