On Friday, the Togiak Huskies's game was all tied up 28-28 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Koliganek by a score of 58-48. The win made it back-to-back wins for Togiak.
When it comes to explaining why Koliganek lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ezra Panamarioff. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points. It was the first time this season that Panamarioff scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andy Andrew, who scored eight points.
The victory got Togiak back to even at 2-2. As for Koliganek, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
Togiak didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 80-59 loss vs. Manokotak on the 9th. Koliganek has also already played their next game, a 46-15 victory against Aleknagik on the 9th.
