The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Aleah DeVries, who scored 11 points along with seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Annalis Benson was another key contributor, scoring six points along with nine steals.
Meanwhile, Fourth Baptist Christian put another one in the bag last Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 45-17 win over Lake Region Christian on the road. Fourth Baptist Christian's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Lake Region Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Fourth Baptist Christian, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.
Lake Region Christian was taken down by Fourth Baptist Christian 45-17 in their previous matchup last Friday. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Lake Region Christian was down 45-17.
