The Broomfield Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They really took it to Greeley Central for the full four quarters, racking up a 71-25 win at home. With that win, Broomfield brought their scoring average up to 50.1 points per game.
Broomfield got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Olivia Kim out in front who scored 13 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ej Harper, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.
Despite the loss, Greeley Central still got an impressive performance from Madison Sepeda, who scored 13 points along with three steals. Sepeda scored a full 52% of Greeley Central's points, the eighth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Broomfield's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.1 points per game. As for Greeley Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Broomfield will head out on the road to face off against Mountain Range at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mountain Range will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 147th, while Broomfield is ranked 32nd). As for Greeley Central, they will be playing at home against Rocky Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Rocky Mountain is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 54.2 points per game.
