The Penn Wood Patriots''s seven-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They put the hurt on Interboro with a sharp 42-21 win. Penn Wood's offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last six games.
Penn Wood's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kivaleon Clarke, who picked up 185 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Nasir Sherif got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Penn Wood's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Interboro, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
