Saint Mary's Hall extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Breanna Benavides. The Barons walked away with a 2-0 win over the D'Hanis Cowboys on Friday for which the team can thank Benavides, who had 12 digs and nine aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 34 games she's played dating back to last season.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Saint Mary's Hall was: they took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-14.

Saint Mary's Hall's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for D'Hanis, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coincidentally, Saint Mary's Hall and D'Hanis will both be playing Hondo the next time they take the court. The Cowboys will head out to face the Owls at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Barons will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
