Leading St. Elizabeth to victory were Carter Otto and Carter Reinkemeyer. Otto scored 11 points along with nine rebounds, while Reinkemeyer scored 14 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Reinkemeyer has scored all season. Isaac Green was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds.
Halfway now has a losing record at 7-8. As for St. Elizabeth, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Halfway will square off against Everton at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Everton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 570th, while Halfway is ranked 274th). St. Elizabeth will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Vienna at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Vienna will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
