The biggest upset of the week belonged to Wimberley, who took down 197th ranked Navarro, 21-20.
Fredericksburg's Joaquin Rivera rumbled for the longest rushing play in 3A Region IV District 27 this season in his game against Boerne last week. Rivera scampered for 59 yards on the play and finished with 129 on the day as his team lost to the Greyhounds.
Boerne's dynamic duo of Quinten Dormady and Paul Burns proved tough for Fredericksburg to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Dormady threw for 377 yards and four touchdowns and Burns had 154 yards receiving. Mark Woodie helped Boerne's passing attack out by catching six balls for 105 yards.
Lj Anderson was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 18 carries, he ran for 182 yards as the Panthers defeated Lance Moffett's team. Teammate Zane Conlin added to the ground attack by rushing for 82 yards.
The Greyhounds' Dormady and Burns have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Dormady has thrown for 2075 yards this season, while Burns has 27 catches for 576 yards. Navarro's Anderson leads the league in rushing yards with 761.
Two of the top units in 3A Region IV District 27 will face off this week when Les Goad's team takes on the Billies. The Panthers' offense has racked up 251 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while Fredericksburg has allowed only 137 on the year.
