Arkeyveon Hood Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Starting off the list is Spalding's Arkeyveon Hood, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Hood rushed for 114 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
For the season, Hood has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 45.6 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 0.75 rushing yards per game.

Corey Hadley Jr produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Sandy Creek to the win on Friday. Hadley Jr picked up 103 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 81 yards.
For the year, Hadley Jr has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 22.9 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had one receiving touchdown.

Lagrange Gets a Boost from Render-Fannin in 41-28 Win
Malachi Render-Fannin's big game helped extend LaGrange's winning streak to five on Thursday. Render-Fannin turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 162 yards while picking up 10.1 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 109 rushing yards.
LaGrange pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Render-Fannin and LaGrange will take on Troup County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Javarris Warner Delivers Electric Performance Vs Trinity Christian
Rounding off our Top Five is Javarris Warner of Troup County. Warner rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 75 yards.
This season, Warner has run in 6 touchdowns while averaging 88.7 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 0.57 rushing yards per game.
