Casa Roble moved up to 286 from 393 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Capital Valley. The Rams climbed the ranks as a result of falling to Inderkum 49-32.
Bella Vista took down Mesa Verde 49-13 last week, the largest margin of any game. Andreas Litton ran for 84 yards in the win.
Casa Roble's dynamic duo of Peyton Wilfley and Jake Romine proved to be unstoppable against the Tigers, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Wilfley threw for 234 yards and 3 touchdowns and Romine had 118 yards receiving. Angel Tenorio helped Casa Roble's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 64 yards.
Norm Ryan's team's dynamic duo of Wilfley and Romine proved tough for Inderkum to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Wilfley put up the best numbers in passing as the Rams lost to Terry Stark's team.
He went 18-29 with 2 interceptions.
Ce'von Mitchell-Ford was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 121 yards on 7 carries as Christian Brothers fell to the Tigers. Mason Stahley also contributed to the rushing game with 70 yards on the ground.
Romine was the best receiver in the league this week as the Rams lost to Inderkum.
6-foot-0 quarterback Wilfley of Casa Roble is the league leader in passing yards this season with 690. He has also thrown 9 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Namani Parker. The Oakmont star has 11 catches for 272 yards.
The Rams made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,647 from 5,284. The advance stemmed from a 49-32 victory over Casa Roble last week.
