Anson is 0-6 against the Wolf Pack since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Anson Bearcats will head out on the road to take on the Parkwood Wolf Pack at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the pair posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Anson can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Central Academy with a sharp 75-52 victory. With Anson ahead 40-16 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Jayden Little continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 32 points along with six rebounds and four steals. That makes it ten consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Anson's points. Another player making a difference was Ryan Robinson, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Parkwood unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 68-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of West Stanly.
Anson now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Parkwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.
Anson came up short against the Wolf Pack in their previous meeting back in January, falling 74-65. Can Anson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
