Despite the defeat, Lafayette Christian got a solid performance out of Carmen Bridges, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Bridges scored a full 70.8% of Lafayette Christian's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Marta Camps was another key contributor, scoring 2 points along with 3 steals.
Their wins bumped Central Christian to 1-2 and Konos Academy to 4-2.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Central Christian have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 37.7 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Lafayette Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 20.5 per game.
