Union kept up with Ben Lomond until halftime on Wednesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Scots were the clear victors by a 6-2 margin over the Cougars. Considering Ben Lomond have won three contests by more than three goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win got Ben Lomond back to even at 4-4. As for Union, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ben Lomond will venture away from home to take on Morgan at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Union, they will head out to face off against Ogden at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Ogden will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Union surely won't give up without a fight.
