Goffstown will look to defend their home turf on Saturday against Manchester Memorial at 1:30 PM. Coming off of a win even when the odds were against them, Goffstown have to be feeling especially confident with the MaxPreps state rankings on their side for this one.
After having lost a blowout in their contest two weeks ago against Bedford, Goffstown were happy to find some success last Saturday. Goffstown strolled past Concord with points to spare, taking the matchup 34-17. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Goffstown as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Manchester Memorial lost to Bedford, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-56.
Goffstown's win lifted them to 1-3 while Manchester Memorial's loss dropped them down to 0-4. We'll find out if Goffstown can add another positive mark to their record or if Manchester Memorial can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Goffstown's step.
