Fort Wayne Wayne lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Davianna Irons, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Khalise Collins, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Fort Wayne Wayne, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian will challenge Lakeland Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Fort Wayne Wayne, they will head out on the road to face off against Huntington North at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
