Iota were successful in their last outing against Crowley, and they didn't afford Crowley any payback this time around. Iota took their match against Crowley on Friday by a conclusive 41-20 score.
Iota started the game off right with 20 first-half points. Crowley wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 14 to make it 20-14 heading into the break. The other side of the ball was dominant for Iota in the second half, holding Crowley to a measly 6 points. Iota added further sheen to their flawless record, now 6-0. The loss dropped Crowley back to even at 3-3.
Next week Iota take on Church Point at 7:00 PM. Unlike Iota, Church Point will be limping in after taking a loss. As for Crowley, they will face off against Mamou. Mamou are limping into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
