At the plate, Tikema Jackson was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Justine Smith, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Armwood kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Middleton only managed two hits.
Meanwhile, Leto lost 18-6 to Blake on Tuesday.
Jayla Fernandez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Leto has also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Armwood, their win bumped their record up to 7-11.
Wednesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Armwood has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .547.
