Meanwhile, Nickerson fell victim to Pratt and their airtight pitching crew in Friday's second game. They wound up on the wrong side of a tough 16-0 walloping at the hands of the Greenbacks. Nickerson has not had much luck with Pratt recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Hesston's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Nickerson, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
