Central Cambria won the last time they faced Greater Johnstown and things went their way on Saturday too. The Red Devils put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 14-4 victory. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by eight runs or more this season.

Grady Snyder made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Snyder was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. That home run was his first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Derek McConnell, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of JD Brouse, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Central Cambria was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .529. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Central Cambria's record is now 7-2. As for Greater Johnstown, their loss was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9.
