Lavell Joyner has led Cross in assists on the season and he led the team again on Monday. Joyner wasn't messing around, putting up five points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. The game was his fourth straight with two or more steals.

Joyner and Cross will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Timberland at 7:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
