It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 73-43, which was the final score in Lincoln's tilt against the Leopards on Monday. While losing is never fun, Lincoln can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 258th, while the Leopards are ranked 79th).
Southern Cloud co-op [Miltonvale/Glasco] can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They snuck past Stockton with a 42-36 win. The victory was just what Southern Cloud co-op [Miltonvale/Glasco] needed coming off of a 55-19 loss in their prior match.
It was another big night for Kye Chase, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Southern Cloud co-op [Miltonvale/Glasco]'s points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Liby, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Lincoln's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-6. As for Southern Cloud co-op [Miltonvale/Glasco], their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.
