The Havre de Grace Warriors waltzed into their contest on Monday with four straight wins but they left with five. They walked away with a 39-30 victory over Aberdeen. That's another feather in the cap for Havre de Grace, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Havre de Grace to victory, but perhaps none more so than SaBree Knox, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Azareya Whiting, who scored four points along with five assists and three steals.
Havre de Grace's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. As for Aberdeen, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
Havre de Grace will head out on the road to square off against Severna Park at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Severna Park has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Aberdeen, they will be playing in front of their home fans against C. Milton Wright at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. C. Milton Wright and Aberdeen are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
