Floyd Central entered their tilt with Brownstown Central on Saturday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They walked away with  a   2-0  victory over the Braves. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  3-0  back in August.
Floyd Central's offense was headlined by  Keylee Kruer and  Riley Roberts, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from  Lillie Furmall and her 28 assists.  Autumn Engle controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
 Brownstown Central's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Sophie Wischmeier, who  had 14  kills and nine  digs. Wischmeier has been hot for a while, having  posted five or more  kills the last 37 times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Finley Wheeler, who  had 28  assists and seven  digs.
Floyd Central's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Brownstown Central, they moved to 17-4 with that  loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.
 Floyd Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  game,  a  2-1  victory against New Albany on the 20th. As for Brownstown Central, they will take on Austin at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
