The Mae Jemison Jaguars can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 67-66 photo finish over Lee. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Dakarion Bryant was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Mae Jemison's points. Jalen Glover was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five assists and two steals.
Mae Jemison's victory bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Lee, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
Mae Jemison will take on East Limestone at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (East Limestone is ranked 74th, while Mae Jemison is ranked 81st). Lee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
