Ridgeway might have drawn first blood against Kirby on Friday, but it was Kirby who got the last laugh. Ridgeway took a 28-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kirby. If Ridgeway were hoping to take revenge for the 40-55 loss against Kirby the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed. The game pushed Ridgeway down to 0-2 and pulled Kirby up to the reverse 2-0.
Both teams will be heading out of the conference in their next games. Next week, Ridgeway take on Pulaski Academy at 7:00 PM. As for Kirby, they will face off against Olive Branch.
