Dixie waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Calhoun Falls Charter Blue Flashes 36-22. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 53-48 back in January.

Dixie's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kerrie O'Shields, who posted 11 points along with five rebounds and four steals. O'Shields has been hot recently, having posted four or more steals the last three times she's played. LaNya Dotson was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Despite the loss, Calhoun Falls Charter still got an impressive performance from Raynias Williams, who had nine points in addition to six steals and five boards. That's the most steals Williams has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Alexis Sanders, who scored two points along with ten rebounds and six blocks.

Dixie pushed their record up to 9-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.5 points. As for Calhoun Falls Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-4.

Dixie didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 68-22 win against Whitmire on the 29th. As for Calhoun Falls Charter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 55-26 loss against McCormick on the 31st.
