Roswell was the team made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from fifth to second in AAAAAA Region 5. The Hornets defeated Centennial 39-30 earlier in the week.
Cherokee moved up to 195 from 275 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Warriors climbed the ranks as a result of beating Creekview 53-34.
Cherokee's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Spencer Ashley threw for 340 yards and Blace Brown had 157 yards receiving. On the ground Blake Johnston chipped in 124 yards. Andrew Harris helped Cherokee's passing attack out by catching 7 balls for 88 yards.
