Another reason for the win was Hamilton Township's imposing defensive line, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Suge Brown, Logan Paquette, and Jesse Ferrell, who each picked up one sack apiece. Jaymir Reed was another major factor on D, forcing one fumble and making 15 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Liberty Union's offense. They were beaten by Fairfield Union 41-0 on Friday. The Lions have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Hamilton Township has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 241 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Liberty Union struggles in that department as they've been averaging 239.3 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything came up roses for Hamilton Township against Liberty Union in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 47-20 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rangers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
