At bat,  Wideman  went 2-for-4 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and a  stolen base, while  Scancella  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all two of his plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Lou Paci was a standout: he scored three  runs and  stole three bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Antonio Torres, who  scored three  runs and  stole four bases while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.
 The  win  made it two in a row for Bristol and  bumps their season record up to 2-0.
 Bristol will be playing in front of their home fans against Boys' Latin Charter at 3:45  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Valley Forge Military Academy, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Calvary Christian Academy at 3:45  p.m.  on Tuesday.
