After a disappointing 0 points in the match before, Carroll made sure to put some points up on the board against Boone on Friday. Carroll took the matchup and then some with a 36-0 win over Boone. Carroll were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The victory bumped Carroll's record up to 3-4. The loss dropped Boone back to even at 3-3.
Next week Carroll take on Perry at 7:00 PM. Unlike Carroll, Perry will be limping in after taking a loss. Boone will stay at home against Dallas Center-Grimes at 4:45 PM. Boone have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Dallas Center-Grimes are surely hoping to exploit.
