Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Christian Brooks-Moore, who scored eight points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Br'ia Maddox, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds.
Jonilyah Chambers continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Wayne, scoring 16 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Chambers is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. Morgyn Rose was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Trotwood-Madison has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Wayne, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trotwood-Madison will take on the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Ohio (Bishop Fenwick is ranked 591st, while the Rams are ranked 586th). Wayne will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on the Elks at 7:00 p.m. on February 10th.
