Basketball Recap: Chatham Charter Piles Up the Points Against Clover Garden School

Chatham Charter won the last time they faced Clover Garden School and things went their way on Thursday too. The Chatham Charter Knights claimed a resounding 67-24 victory over the Clover Garden School Grizzlies. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-11.

Chatham Charter got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Breylan Harris out in front who posted six points along with 11 boards and six steals. With that strong performance, Harris is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Murphy, who put up seven points and three steals.

Chatham Charter was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Clover Garden School only racked up seven assists.

When it comes to explaining why Clover Garden School lost, don't look at Ethan Saunders. Despite the final result, he earned eight points. Another player making a difference was Joshua Akers, who posted four points.

Chatham Charter has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.4 points per game. As for Clover Garden School, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
