The Dos Palos Broncos's eight-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Farmersville 75-37 at home. Dos Palos' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Leading Dos Palos to victory were Jacquez Jones and Robey Peacock. Jones scored 21 points, while Peacock scored 28 points along with six rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Jones has scored at least 25% of Dos Palos' points. The team also got some help courtesy of JT Gomez, who scored ten points.
Dos Palos' win bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Farmersville, they bumped their record down to 0-10 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Dos Palos won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Gustine at 6:30 p.m. on December 20th. Farmersville will be staying on the road on December 27th to face off against Laton at 8:00 p.m. on December 27th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Laton is ranked 1432nd, while Farmersville is ranked 1428th).
