The Southwest Christian Stars will take on the Delano Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
As a matter of fact, Southwest Christian put up the most runs they have all season on Monday. They never let Blake get on the board and left with a 27-0 win. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Stars with their most commanding win of the season.

Jack Manion looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Melvin Maldonado, who fired off three home runs, 13 RBI, and four runs while going 5-for-5. Those three home runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cruz Winegarden, who went 5-for-6 with three RBI and two runs.
Southwest Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .692. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
The home team had won the previous five meetings between Delano and Jordan, and Delano kept the tradition alive. The Tigers walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Hubmen / Jaguars on Thursday.
Brody Geislinger was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. Carson Purkey was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and three runs.
Delano has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Southwest Christian, they pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Southwest Christian beat Delano 6-3 in their previous meeting back in April. Will the Stars repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
