The Wells Leopards lost to the GV Christian Guardians back in December of 2022, but the Wells Leopards didn't allow the GV Christian Guardians the same satisfaction on Saturday. Wells claimed a resounding 38-7 win over GV Christian on the road. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Wells.
Lillian Harney continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 17 points along with 3 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Wells' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Khloe DelRio, who scored 8 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 steals.
Wells' victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for GV Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wells will take on West Wendover at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Wendover's defense has only allowed 25.2 points per game this season, so Wells' offense will have their work cut out for Wells. GV Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Lincoln County at 5:00 p.m. on December 8th.
